Job Summary

A Social Worker in New Jersey provides essential social services to clients and their families, focusing on assessment, service planning, coordination, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Assessment: Evaluate clients needs through interviews and home visits.
• Service Planning: Develop and implement individualized service plans.
• Referrals: Connect clients with necessary services (medical, housing, employment, etc.).
• Coordination: Arrange and coordinate services with other agencies.
• Follow-Up: Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Advocacy: Secure necessary services and support for clients.

Requirements

• Education: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).
• Experience: Minimum one year in social case work.
• Licensure: Valid New Jersey drivers license if required.
