Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Job Description Requirements

Specialty: Neuro ICU

48 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel

Requirements:

License: VA or Compact RN License in hand at submission (no exceptions)
Certifications:
- BLS ACLS - American Heart Association only
- NIHSS - Required
Experience:
- Strong neuro ICU experience required (e.g., post-neurosurgical, EVD, stroke)
- Vents, IV titration, telemetry, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia emergency management
- 3 years of critical care preferred, but strong candidates considered
- EPIC proficiency - required
Must Float: To Stepdown Unit, ED/MedSurg for ICU patients
Patient Population: Neuro (stroke/post-surgery), respiratory/renal failure, trauma, sepsis/MODS, heart failure, post-cardiac cath

Additional Details:RTO Blocked Dates: 7/9 to 7/19 not acceptedFloating: Required per contractWork Schedule: Nights, weekdays, every other weekend, holidays as neededModules: Required (3 hours)EKG Testing: Required (must pass with #137;yen;80%, no remediation)P/F Testing: No PAPR accommodation-fit test issues will disqualifyLocal Rule: No RNs within 50 miles (DL required for address verification)
