Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel Physicist for a travel job in Medford, Oregon.

3 years post certification medical physics experience in a clinical setting - some solo experience preferred

MS or higher in Medical Physics, DABR, QMP recognition by Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors

M-F, days, some on-call during normal clinic hours, few weekends/evenings based on clinical activity

DABRPerform weekly chart checks, electron cutout measurements, VMAT QA, TLD measurements, treatment planning, machine repair/coordination of engineers, linac and CT QA, VMAT peer review of plans, software upgrades, weekly chart rounds documentation, consultation on scientific and technical aspects of treatment planning and delivery, lead QI monthly meetings, monthly technical committee meetings, bi-annual radiation safety meetings, special physics reports, EOT data collection and analysis, new equipment evaluation and implementation, manage radiation badge program, technical training of therapists and dosimetrists.Calibration of all equipment. 3D EBRT, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT
