PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Patient Types:Post-surgical recovery unitPatients have secondary medical issues due to post-surgical recoverySurgical: Colo-rectal, vascular, GYN oncology, surgical oncology (whipples), urology (cysto, TURPs), plastics (skin flaps)Medical: wounds from surgeries, amputations, COVID, diabetic ulcers, diabetic (with insulin gtt)Patient Ratios:RN:Day/Eves - 1:5Night - 1:7Tech:Day: 3-4Night: 3Required Certifications:BLSSkills requiredSurgical postop experience, PCA/epidurals, wound dressing care, wound vacs, IV skills, drain/tube management, foley management, ostomy care, NTG placement/management, small bore placement/management, cardiac rhythm interpretationTitration of medication: heparin, insulin, ketamine, Lasix, protonix, Cardizem435039
