As a Registered Nurse (RN) On the Medical Unit you will care for a wide ranging patient population including chronically ill, terminally ill and palliative care patients. You will also care for pre and post-surgical patients on occasion and you will be exposed to many different areas of nursing care.

. You will provide assessment and care of chronically ill, terminally ill and palliative care patients.

. You will administer prescribed medications including oncologic medications which require certification for Registered Nurses.

. Monitoring, recording and communicating patient conditions will be your primary responsibility as well as recording data electronically.

. You will recognize and respond to changes in a patients condition.

. Coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of your units healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
