Job Summary and Qualifications

The Trauma Clinical Research Coordinator will coordinate and participate in clinical research studies conducted by principal investigator(s) at Research Medical Center. Responsible for performing diverse administrative and clinical duties including the collection, compilation, documentation and analysis of data as it relates to trauma research. Responsible for a high level of knowledge specific to research protocols and institutional requirements. Functions as a liaison between investigators, subjects, sponsors, the Institution, and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

What you will do in this role:

• Coordinate research projects conducted in support of the care of the injured patient population. Conduct literature and regulatory reviews.
• Prepares reports for the Institutional Review Board. Ensures completeness and accuracy of data and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with overall successful conduct of assigned clinical studies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to the trauma team, patients, and families in human rights and research regulations.
• Arrange and coordinate conference calls, staff meetings, and training events.
• Assist in compilation and review of adverse event information.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors degree in a healthcare or related field
• Healthcare related degree with data, information management or statistics experience preferred
